Call For Proposals (CFP) Information

THE INFORMATION BELOW IS FROM THE FINAL CALL FOR PROPOSALS ISSUED IN 2006/07.

The SFM Network Call For Proposals is a multiple-part process with proponents first preparing brief Letters of Intent that highlight the basic research questions being addressed, the research team, and project partners.  Following evaluation of the LOIs, successful proposals are invited to submit detailed proposals.

SFM Network CFP: evaluation criteria

Proposals are subject to a rigorous process of internal review that involves scoring by SFM Network artner representatives and scientists-at-large on the SFM Network Research Planning Committee. Full proposals are also subject to external peer review.

The SFM Network has held proposal development workshops to facilitate the development of research proposals and project teams. Proceedings from these workshops are available under Previous Workshops.
