The Role of Protected Areas in Sustainable Forest Management
September 11-12, 2008. Halifax, N.S.
As part of the SFM Network's State of Knowledge project on the role of protected areas in sustainable forest management, two workshops will be held in eastern and western Canada in Fall 2008. The workshops will focus on the values associated with protected areas for sustainable forest management, and the range of regulatory and policy tools that can be applied to facilitate the relationship between protected areas and sustainable forest management. Attendance is by invitation.
