The Future of Canada’s Forests: What do You Think?
An Open Invitation to Help Develop Strong Policy Interpretations Associated with the Scenarios of the SFM Network’s Forest Futures Project
The Sustainable Forest Management Network’s Forest Futures Project has created four quite different scenarios of how Canadian forests and the forest sector could develop to the year 2050. This is an open invitation to people interested in Canada’s forests and the forest sector to help develop strong policy interpretations associated with the scenarios. Draft essays (of up to 4000 words) responding to the challenges posed in the scenarios are invited from forest thinkers up to January 9, 2009.
Authors of the ten best essays will receive $1000 and expenses to attend our policy interpretation workshop in Toronto, February 4-5, 2009.
