Publications
There are several categories of SFM Network publications, including the following:
- Project reports and Research papers present results from SFM Network funded research projects over the past 10 years.
- Synthesis reports collect and synthesize research from the network and other sources in order to deliver plain language reports that highlight management recommendations
- Research Notes are targeted specifically at forest management professionals, are generally between 4 and 6 pages in length and contain readily accessible information of immediate relevance to practitioners.
- State of Knowledge Reports are designed to capture the knowledge and wisdom that had accumulated in publications and people over a decade of research. The goal is to create a foundation of current knowledge on which to build policy, practice and future research.
